3. Definition of Confidential Information

“Confidential Information” includes, but is not limited to:

  • Personal details (name, contact, PAN, Aadhaar)
  • Financial data (income, bank statements, investments)
  • Tax records, filings, and returns
  • Business data, financial statements, and proprietary information
  • Login credentials, digital records, and communications

4. Obligation of Confidentiality

The Firm shall:

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all client information
  • Use information solely for the purpose of providing agreed services
  • Not disclose information without client consent, except as required by law

5. Permitted Disclosures

Confidential information may be disclosed:

  • To government authorities (e.g., Income Tax Department) as required by law
  • Under court orders or statutory obligations
  • To authorized employees or partners on a “need-to-know” basis
  • To technology service providers under strict confidentiality agreements

6. Data Security Measures

In compliance with Rule 8 of the IT Rules, 2011, we implement:

  • Secure data storage and encryption
  • Restricted access controls
  • Confidentiality agreements with staff and partners
  • Regular monitoring and system updates

7. Client Responsibilities

Clients shall:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Safeguard their login credentials and sensitive documents
  • Not share confidential communications without consent

8. Non-Disclosure by Employees & Associates

All employees, consultants, and third parties:

  • Are bound by confidentiality obligations
  • Must sign Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) where applicable
  • Shall be liable for breach of confidentiality

9. Retention & Disposal of Information

  • Confidential data shall be retained only as long as necessary under applicable laws
  • Data shall be securely deleted or destroyed after the retention period

10. Breach of Confidentiality

In case of a data breach:

  • The Firm will take immediate corrective actions
  • Affected clients may be notified where required by law
  • Legal action may be initiated against responsible parties

11. Limitation of Liability

The Firm shall not be held liable for:

  • Breaches caused by external cyber-attacks beyond reasonable control
  • Client negligence in safeguarding sensitive information
  • Third-party platform failures

12. Indemnity

The Client agrees to indemnify the Firm against any losses arising from:

  • Unauthorized sharing of confidential data by the Client
  • Misuse of services or non-compliance with applicable laws

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Policy shall be governed by the laws of India.
All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Delhi.


14. Amendments

The Firm reserves the right to update this Policy at any time. Changes will be communicated via website or official channels.
